The Bus de la Lum (the hole of the lights) Cansiglio’s deepest ponor, a huge scary hole in the forest, that was believed to be the world’s deepest hole in the past. It’s a feared and respected place believed to be sacred since ever. It’s the home of Anduane (the witches of the water) and scares the locals because of the frequent appearance of will-o'-the-wisps. It was considered a source of energy, and an entrance to the underworld. This place was sadly where many people were killed and thrown inside the Bus de la Lum during the partisan war in WWII.
