Erica's songwriting is at once sincere, calming, and nostalgic. Critics often describe her music as evoking a golden age of folk, with a voice and guitar style reminiscent of artists including Joni Mitchell, Nick Drake, and Judy Collins. However, the subject matter of her lyrics belongs unmistakably to her own era.
