Gile Bae (1994) was born in Capelle aan de Yssel in The Netherlands,and started to play the piano when she was 5 years old.
With 6 years, Gile was accepted to the Royal Conservatory in the Hague, and she continued her study with Marlies van Gent.
Gile has made her debut as soloist with orchestra in South Corea with 5 years.
Since then she play numerous times with orchestras and also solo in different states a.o UK,Austria,Germany,The Netherlands, Switzerland,Spain,Portugal,Belgium and Italy.
Gile is also regulary on the Dutch and Italian television and radio.
She has won first prizes in competitions starting with 6 years old, the International Steinway pianocompetition held in The Netherlands. And first prizes at the EPTA international in Belgium, and Maria Campina international pianocompetition in Portugal. In The Netherlands she won the first prizes on the Prinsess Christina Competition, Stichting Jong Muziektalent Competition, and in 2010 with the age of 15 she won the first prize on the international Steinway pianocompetition in the highest category, and was choosen as representor of the Netherlands on the International Steinway Festival In Hamburg,Germany.
In the Netherlands she also regulary performs for the Royal Family,since a young age. In October 2013 Gile played for the Nobel price for the Peace winner Aung San Suu Kyi. Gile has had a lot of interesting masterclasses a.o Naum Grubert, Elza Kolodin, Ruth Nye, Tatiana Zelikman, Boris Petrushansky and Jean Ives Thibaudet.
Currently Gile is studying at the Accademia Pianistica Internazionale "Incontri col maestro" Di Imola. Where she is studying already for 10 years with Maestro Franco Scala.
