ISOLDE creates ambient, dark, acoustic folk pop layered with haunting female vocals. Warm bass and downtempo percussion solidify the pulse giving the intimately honest songs an earthy bed to rest on. Musical roots stem from Portishead, PJ Harvey, Ani DiFranco and Martina Topley-Bird. Performances are stunningly raw and easily draw the audience closely in to the fragile world of ISOLDE's songs. Over the last years ISOLDE has been regularly touring through Europe, playing live in the UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and Italy and along the way picked up airplay from the BBC, AmsterdamFM and MerweRTV. ISOLDE has previously released a string of singles, EP's and 2 full studio albums; 'New Leaves' (2011) and 'Seeds' (2013) under the previous artist name 'Miss Anthropy'. A fan made video of the 9 minute epic 'You and Me' has clocked up over 10,000 hits on youtube. ISOLDE is currently concentrating on adapting to a new creative form and has been writing in preparation for a 3rd album.
