Il nuovo album di John Mellencamp si intitola Orpheus Descending ed è in uscita il 2 Giugno 2023 per Republic Records / Universal Music. L’album viene anticipato oggi dalla canzone “Hey God”.
Registrato nel suo Belmont Mall Studio, è il 25° album di Mellencamp che lo ha descritto come uno dei suoi dischi più personali con canzoni come “Hey God” e “The Eyes of Portland”.
Mellencamp è attualmente in tour in Nord America, il tour Live and In Person 2023 con date fino al prossimo Giugno.
