Songwriter and linguist (lecturer at the university of São Paulo). As Barnabé he comes from the Vanguarda Paulista movement of the late seventies as the leader of Grupo Rumo. His compositions that uses microtonality and refuse temperament are enhanced by a very personal vocal style and nuanced lyrics. After the demise of Grupo Rumo he continued his solo career realising six albums in which he collaborated with acclaimed female singers as Nà Ozzetti and Livia Nestrovski.
