PALM WINE is a project by Simone Bertuzzi; started as a blog in 2009, it is a survey on post-global panorama with a specific eye for the movement of sounds and related imaginaries. As a DJ, he spins warm and border-crossing tunes — you'll hear: dancehall, dub, tarraxinha, kuduro, azonto, afro beats, uk bass, rasterinha and all that can be named under the Tropical Bass umbrella. Palm Wine created a monthly party in Turin called Bunker Sonidero, which hosted international artists such as Venus X, Chief Boima, Dubbel Dutch and Dj Marfox.
