The Felines is an all-girl garage punk trio out of Copenhagen with Mei Long Bao (drums, vox), Ditte Melgaard (guitar, vox) and Asta Bjerre (bass, vox). They got their rockin' bones together in November 2010 with a shared interest in simple compositions and raw, authentic sound, where imperfections are considered a treasured virtue. The music is defined by their love for old and new garage punk and punk bands, as much as a rich vocal part where everyone sings the lead. Since they played their first gig in Copenhagen in March 2011, they've been electrifying the crowd at many local and european gigs playing with bands such as River City Tanlines, Cheap Time, The Monsters, Black Magic Six, Widowspeak and many more. In March 2013 the Felines' second EP is being released on Soundflat Records and a lot of gigs and tours around Europe and Scandinavia will follow. Hope we'll see ya'll there.
