"The Keys" is Boris Paillard's musical project: Since the Fall of 2005, he has been writing songs in English that he sings on his own guitar compositions. He loves to invite musician friends on stage or in the studio to help him build a universe - this is when "The Keys" comes the closest to being a band. He got into musical creation at the end of 2005 to write, record and produce a French rap album with his old friend Eliot Delahaye, with whom he set up the concept band "IV My Babiz". A 13-track album was the fruit of this exciting collaboration, as well as a concert and live radio show. After that, "The Keys" began to grow, as Boris increasingly wrote and performed. In the end, three albums would come out of this short and thrilling period. After being exiled in Montreal for a university exchange, he founded and hosted a folk radio show ("Univers Folk"), which subsequently helped him get into the Montreal music scene, widening his tastes and strengthening his skills. He frequently played gigs in Montreal and Toronto, and recorded a 12-track album which featured talented local musicians. Back in Toulouse, he recorded two albums, one EP that rocked the house ("Earth Is My Only Homeland"), and an LP much more diverse ("Years Are Made Of Seconds") which has been released in december 2008. www.myspace.com/sirobandthekeys www.thekeys.fr http://www.sonicbids.com/epk/epk.aspx?epk_id=184789
