NEW ORLEANS is where jazz began and the first jazz recording was made in 1917 and it's one of the most vibrant places for jazz and blues today. We celebrate New Orleans music, with over 20 concerts:

From second line brass of Soul Brass Band to the funk of Smokers World and Dumpstaphunk

Classic New Orleans Cajun music with the The Savoy Family Cajun Band
New Orleans guests are sprinkled through out the programme playing with Scottish bands as diverse as Swampfog, and the Spirits of Rhythm.

The highlight of the season is the FESTIVAL GALA'S concerts with the New Orleans Classic Big Band, the singer, Ingrid Lucia, and an all star selection of small groups.
